Kid's Learn to Sew
Let’s get them started young. (Kids are fearless anyhow)
This is a great introductory class for kids aged 8 and up to learn how to sew, press and finish a project.
We cover basic techniques with projects they can actually use:
- a study pillow (pillow with outside pockets to stash stuff )
- a lined tote bag with a pocket
- Small project
Students will learn proper use of a sewing machine, measuring, cutting, and marking for their projects.
We will also go over pressing/ironing, and hand sewing.
Sewing machine provided for use during class -- However they are welcome to bring their own machine to use if desired.
*If we do not have enough people registered, the class will be cancelled or postponed to a later date. You will not be charged*
