Applique level 2: 3D Applique Workshop - Birds

Take your applique to the next level!

This is a neat technique that Suzie came up with to add a 3D effect to your projects. 

Working in a wooden hoop (provided for use during class) with wash-away stabilizer will create a 3D bird applique which you can then turn into a wall hanging or a pillow or add onto a quilt, etc.

We will have kits made up for a few different birds, which you can choose from when you come to the class. 
Note: You will only be making 1 bird during the workshop, which you can choose to put on a background at another time.

All supplies are included to make the bird.

*If you have a small pair of embroidery scissors or duckbill scissors, please bring them along as you will need them to trim the fabric! 
If you need to purchase a pair, we have different options available and you will receive 15% off (just make sure to mention you are registered for the class!)
Also if you have little fabric scraps that you want to use in your bird, bring them too!
