Clam Up! Introduction to Bag Making
This workshop you will learn how to make a Clam Up bag from Byannie which are a great intro to the world of bag making. We will be making the large size in class.
We will discuss different tips and tricks when making bags such as, stabilizer/foam, fabric placement, quilting and cutting out your pieces, etc. You can then use these tips when making other bags in the future!
Although this is a beginner bag making class, you will need to have some basic sewing knowledge.
You may also want to bring along a lunch!
Supplies not included. You will need to bring:
Clam Up Pattern
1 x Fat quarter for the main fabric
1 x fat quarter for the inside fabric
1 x fat quarter (or for the tabs, binding & gussets
1 x 20" or longer zipper
18x58 package of Soft and Stable or Bosal foam (this will be enough to make all 5 size of clam ups)
