The hardest part of sewing clothes? Fitting them on yourself! Constantly twisting, reaching, and pinning behind your back makes fitting a headache. We have the ultimate solution: create a custom sewing dress form that matches your exact measurements and shape!
Join us for this hands-on workshop where you’ll learn how to build a personalized duct-tape body dress form (your new sewing "twin"!). We will also be sewing a tailors ham for pressing out of muslin & wool.

Note: You’ll need to wear a long, fitted t-shirt that will be cut off at the end of the process—so wear one you don't mind sacrificing for art!

A Professional Tailor’s Ham

A Tailor’s Ham is the ultimate secret weapon for pressing curved seams, bust darts, and sleeve heads.

We’ll construct yours using sturdy wool, muslin, and natural wood shavings for a durable, heavy-duty pressing tool that lasts a lifetime! Supplies all included for this project
You only need to bring along about 3 rolls of duct tape (and wear a fitted t shirt for cutting), we will supply the rest.
